D.5.3 Unless otherwise agreed on the day of instruction and the time of preparation, the provisions of the Collective Agreement on Secondary Schools apply to secondary schools. One. Adult education teachers shall be dismissed at the conclusion of their contract and reinstated in accordance with the provisions of this Article relating to reinstatement. One. On-call teachers and teachers whose role is that of a permanent on-call teacher need only perform the tasks appropriate to the mandate of the teacher they are replacing. *a. Notwithstanding the provisions of C.2.3.b.ii, eighteen (18) days for the purpose of accumulating seniority of teachers on demand are from one (1) month to a maximum of ten (10) months of service in a school year. One. Following the award of fixed-term contracts in accordance with Articles C.22.7, C.22.8.a and C.22.8.b, all remaining vacancies must be listed at least one (1) month before the beginning of the term and distributed to all adult education teachers in their homes.

C.26.1 Article C.25 applies to adult education teachers (Article C.27, first-year workers do not apply), subject to the following conditions: d. Within seven (7) days of receipt of the written disagreement, a meeting will be held between the parties to resolve the matter. In the event that no agreement is reached within seven (7) days, the Surrey Teachers` Association may regret the decision on the grounds that it is inappropriate. However, this will not constitute an obstacle to the unscathed continuation of the reporting process. A.4.4 The form and timing of the transfer of fees and charges from the local [Surrey Teachers` Association] shall remain unchanged unless they are changed by mutual agreement between the local [Surrey Teachersa Association] and the employer. D.3.2 If a school district intends to introduce an alternative school calendar, the local [Surrey Teachersâ Association] shall be notified in writing no later than forty (40) business days prior to its introduction. The employer and the local [Surrey Teachers` Association] must meet within five (5) business days of receiving such notice to negotiate amendments to the terms of the agreement directly or indirectly affected by the proposed amendment(s). The above-mentioned amendments shall, to the extent permitted by law, preserve the original intent of the Agreement.

One. In the category closest to the category of teachers according to the years of higher education in this subject (see Article B.21) and a. Employees employed as on-call teachers receive the rate set out below for each full business day of the first three (3) days. Any provision in the previous collective agreement that provides for a higher daily rate remains a part of the collective agreement. One. A worker who is employed for two (2) years or more without interruption and who has been terminated, with the exception and exception of an employee who is dismissed or terminated in accordance with Article C.29 or C.31, may at any time elect to receive severance pay before the right to reinstatement under Article C.21.4 of this Agreement is lost. The data contained in the declaration must be in the form of information system of the payroll/human resources department of the council. A.35.4 This Agreement is published in the form of a brochure, with costs borne equally by the Board of Directors and the Surrey Teachers` Association. Full-time secondary school teachers are entitled to at least twelve and a half per cent (12.5 per cent) of the total preparatory teaching time on average over the school year. A.23.3 If the principal/vice-principal and the adult education teacher agree, the services of volunteers in some classes may be used; and if the principal/vice-principal and the adult education teacher continue to agree, some volunteers will be assigned to these classes.

In both cases, neither the principal/vice-principal nor the adult education teacher will unreasonably refuse their consent. One. The board pays employees working on an hourly basis (with the exception of summer school teachers) with 1/1000 of the employee`s regular placement for each employee lesson. One. Following the award of contracts in accordance with Article C.22.7, adult education teachers who have satisfactorily completed during the preceding semester a course which is not equal to the request shall have the possibility, in the order of their seniority, to accept courses in the order of their seniority for which the previous holder has refused to be reinstated or which are newly offered and for which the term teacher contact of Adult education is qualified. Up to the total number of contract hours, the semester contract teacher for adult education was hired during the previous semester, unless the semester course was converted into contract adult education teachers in order to fulfil their contractual obligations. D.5.4 If the employer and the local [Surrey Teachers` Association] are unable to agree on any alternative or additional provisions of the collective agreement that are necessary to accommodate the intended intermediate curriculum (the planned middle school programs), either party may submit the disputed matter(s) to expedited arbitration for final and binding resolution in accordance with section D.5.5. c. From 1 July 1999, the annual salary shall be paid on the basis of the provisions relating to the category and experience of adult education teachers on the basis of the working time of the adult education teacher during the working year. (See also: Article B.3) C.30.1 Article C.29 applies to fixed-term adult education teachers with the following amendments: b. By mutual agreement, any other claim may be submitted to expedited arbitration.

*c. Part-time teachers who work forty percent (40%) or more of full-time employees receive preparation time in proportion to their RTD status and task. A.2.3 The BCTF recognizes BCPSEA as an accredited negotiator for every school board in British Columbia. BCPSEA has the exclusive power to conduct collective bargaining for school authorities and to bind school authorities by collective agreement in accordance with section 2 of Schedule 2 of the PELRA. One. Unless otherwise specified in this agreement, the salary category of all teachers will be verified by the most recent evaluation of the Service de qualification des enseignants (T.Q.S.). A.1.1 Unless expressly stated otherwise, this Collective Agreement shall enter into force from July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2011. The parties agree that they must enter into collective bargaining in good faith at least four (4) months prior to the expiration of this collective agreement for the purpose of renewing or revising this collective agreement and entering into a collective agreement for the following period.
